Description Contemporary theories of society. Intellectual history of U.S. and European theoretical developments in critical race theory, critical theory, feminist theory, post-structuralism, structural functionalism, and structuralism. Theories of postmodernity and non-Western theories of cultural and economic hegemony.
Prerequisite Sociology 101.
