Intellectual history of U.S. and European theoretical developments in critical race theory, critical theory, feminist theory, post-structuralism, structural functionalism, and structuralism. Theories of postmodernity and non-Western theories of cultural and economic hegemony.|
Must meet prerequisite of SOC 101. Otherwise, students will be required to drop or provide documentation demonstrating eligibility at the first class meeting.
Section offered using hybrid teaching format: Additional required online course material will complement the classroom meetings to complete the unit requirements for the course.
