|Description||Contemporary theories of society. Intellectual history of U.S. and European theoretical developments in critical race theory, critical theory, feminist theory, post-structuralism, structural functionalism, and structuralism. Theories of postmodernity and non-Western theories of cultural and economic hegemony.|
Must meet prerequisite of Soc 101. Otherwise, students will be required to drop or provide documentation demonstrating eligibility at the first class meeting.
Distance Education course. All class meetings and activities take place online.
