|Description||Investigation of processes of inquiry and rational thinking skills characteristic of physics, focusing on energy transformations, heat transfer and thermodynamics, force and motion, electricity and magnetism, and waves.|
|Prerequisite||Completion of the General Education requirement in Foundations of Learning II.A., Natural Sciences and Quantitative Reasoning.|
|Course Hours||Three lectures and two hours of activity.|
Students enrolling prior to satisfying prerequisites will be required to drop. If prerequisites do not appear on your degree audit, please bring appropriate documentation to first class meeting.
The 1 unit activity portion will not meet in a classroom. Instead, students will view and analyze videos. Reliable access to a multimedia computer with a high-speed (cable modem, dsl) internet connection either at home or at sdsu is required.
Section offered using hybrid teaching format: Additional required online course material will complement the classroom meetings to complete the unit requirements for the course.
