|Description||Children's mathematical thinking and in-depth analyses of children's understanding of operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and place value. Students will observe individual children solving mathematics problems. Real, compact disc, and/or web-based experience included.|
|Prerequisite||Credit or concurrent registration in Mathematics 210.|
** Restricted to Liberal Studies (49015, 49081) pre-majors and majors. Meets first half of semester; starts on week 1.
Students enrolling in this course who will be doing their fieldwork in San Diego Unified School District will be required to meet new district requirements for participating in its schools. See http://libst.sdsu.edu for details regarding the requirements.
Distance Education course. All class meetings and activities take place online.
