|Description||Capstone course using skills and knowledge acquired in critical thinking, writing, reporting, editing, production, and design courses. Preparation of multimedia news content. Field and laboratory experience. Completion of course with grade of C (2.0) or better is required for majors.|
|Prerequisite||Journalism and Media Studies 420, 430, 494 with a grade of C (2.0) or better in each course. Proof of completion of prerequisites required: Copy of transcript.|
|Course Hours||One lecture and four hours of activity.|
A cellphone with an external microphone capable of shooting photos and videos is required to complete this coursework.
Access to a laptop or computer with iMovie or Moviemaker is required to complete this coursework. The laptop or computer should also be capable of downloading Adobe Premiere and Audacity (editing software).

Distance Education course. All class meetings and activities take place online.
