Description Mediated representations of intersectional Latinx identities by analyzing the Tejano singer Selena. Influence on Latinx media, audiences, and niche marketing. Historical and contemporary issues of Latinx representation and identity formation/maintenance with an emphasis on digital media.
Prerequisite Upper division standing and Journalism and Media Studies 200 or 210.
