|Description||Field and laboratory practice in news gathering and writing, covering news beats including courts, local governments, and other news sources. Emphasis on accuracy, clarity, comprehensiveness and interpretation.|
|Prerequisite||Journalism and Media Studies 300, 310W, and 315 with a grade of C (2.0) or better in each course. Admission to journalism major. Proof of completion of prerequisite required: Copy of transcript.|
|Course Hours||One lecture and four hours of activity.|
Distance Education course. All class meetings and activities take place online.
