|Description||Introduction to human geography. Global and local issues to include culture, development, migration, urbanization, population growth, identity, globalization, geopolitics, and environmental change. Field trips may be arranged.|
This class is fully online, with online lectures, exercises, papers, blogs and journals, and a quiz coincides with the end of each module. Work is done on your own schedule, but is due on a regular basis, with strict deadlines for the exercises, papers, and blog and journal entries. I use short pre-recorded video presentations with power-point lectures. Course instructions and a syllabus with exact dates and deadlines is available to enrolled students through Blackboard.
Immediate Access GEOG 102-03. Your required course materials (textbooks) are provided in a 180 day subscription digital format by the first day of classes and are free through September 12.
