|Description||Theory and application of effective relational communication principles in both intimate and nonintimate contexts. Theoretical and empirical evidence on communication strategies and behaviors in relationship initiation, development, and termination. Relationship of communication behaviors to relational goals.|
|Prerequisite||Communication 300 and 350. Admission to a major or minor in the School of Communication.|
Class meets twice a week synchronously. The third class session is asynchronous online. Refer to the course syllabus for online schedule and assignments.
Distance Education course. All class meetings and activities take place online.
