Full Title Comedy, Tragedy, Actors, and Audiences
Description Classical tragedy and comedy in English translation. Playwrights such as Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Plautus. Ancient theatre, stagecraft, literary criticism, and popular attitudes.
Prerequisite Rhetoric and Writing Studies 200 recommended.
