Full Title Mechanics for Civil Engineers
Description Applied forces and reactions of simple structures, beams, and large structures such as bridges, buildings and dams. Static equilibrium.
Prerequisite Mathematics 150. For civil engineering, construction engineering, and environmental engineering majors: Physics 195. For construction management majors: Physics 180A. Open to majors in civil engineering, construction engineering, environmental engineering, and construction management.
Statement Not open to students with credit in Mechanical Engineering 200 [or Aerospace Engineering 200] and Mechanical Engineering 220 [or Aerospace Engineering 220].
