|General Text||Native speakers of Mandarin Chinese will not receive credit for taking lower division courses except with advance approval from the department. All lower division courses in Chinese are taught in Chinese. No credit will be given for lower division courses taken after successfully completing any upper division Chinese course taken in Chinese. No credit will be given for Chinese 101, 102, 201, 202, 301, and 302 taken out of sequence or concurrently.|
For students who have some background in a Chinese dialect.
