This class is fully online, with online lectures, exercises, 3 midterms, and a final. Work is done on your own schedule, but is due on a regular basis, with strict deadlines. Because it is a 6-week course, the pace is fast, and it will require a lot of your time. We will be primarily using pre-developed content for lectures, and weekly optional live office hours using Blackboard Collaborate. Exams are on line at specified times: you will be given one continuous hour between 3 pm and 9 pm on the scheduled date to complete the exam. If you do not register during the first week of class, you will be at a significant disadvantage because you will have missed several homework assignments that cannot be made up.
Immediate Access Course: Some or all of the required course materials for this class are provided in a digital format by the first day of classes and are free through the add/drop date. Your SDSU student account will then be charged a special reduced price for use of the materials for the remainder of the semester unless you opt-out of the content by 11:59 PM on the add/drop date. Please visit www.shopaztecs.com/immediateaccess for more information.
Instruction is provided through a combination of recorded and limited direct instruction with academic activities, quizzes, etc., at the arranged times and dates described in the footnotes and/or syllabus.
